History

In 1976, Vejdi Özcan founded GÜNEŞTEL Company in an area of 100 m2 with 2 employees and a single machine.

Güneş Tel, moved to a 700 m² warehouse in Küçükköy and managed to make its name known / build a reputation  in the Iron and Steel sector / industry  with a staff of 19 workers and 7 machines.

Güneş Tel's first manufacturing plant was in Sarı Dökümcüler Industrial Estate in 1984, a 3500 m2 manufacturing plant area emerged in Bayrampaşa, suburb district of Istanbul. However, its product range has been diversified in a short period and has become Turkey's leading company in CNC wire bending and forming and semi-finished products.

The Company increased its production by 6000 tons with high technology machines imported from Italy, Spain, and Germany.

The second manufacturing plant opened in İkitelli on a closed area of 3500 m².

In July 2004, its second plant with an area of 3500 m2 started its operations in the Industrial Zone located in Ikitelli. Starting from the 2000s, they began to work as a  second-generation in companies, and in the following years, they drove to take their place in the management levels by growing from the core.

Moved to its new 20.000 m² manufacturing plant in Hadımköy. The company produced 15000 tons with its 85 employees.

Within this year, 3 of its manufacturing facilities moved to Hadımköy. Its production capacity has reached 2500 tons per year.
